Code of Ethics

We have added a separate section to discuss this subject because of its importance. We wish to make it very clear that use of this website and any material in it must be done only with the most stringent ethical standards.
We are intending this material as a means of improving oneself spiritually, physically, and at its very simplest as a means of self defense.

There is an old Shaolin edict which reads:

run before you fight
fight before you injure
injure before you maim
maim before you kill

The essence of this saying is that when one chooses to protect oneself, one must do so using only the minimum amount of force and severity necessary to achieve that goal. Please use this material to better yourself, not to impose your will on others. Remember, respect for others is the first rule in life and in the martial arts.
